When I first got into internet marketing, I wasn’t familiar with super affiliates.
If you sort of got started recently, this might clear something up for you…
First, let’s back up, and start with the definition of an “affiliate.”
An affiliate is basically a salesperson in an affiliate marketing relationship.
Now, imagine you’re an information publisher who has just finished up a helpful ebook and wants to sell it for $47.
In this case you might create an affiliate program and have access to an army of virtual salespeople–your affiliates.
But even if you have an army of virtual salespeople, many affiliates generate few if any actual results. If you look at the 80/20 rule, you might say that 20% of your affiliates are responsible for 80% of your affiliate sales
… Some very experienced affiliate managers might even tell you as few as 2% of your affiliates can be responsible for 90% or more of your affiliate sales.
Those affiliates who produce the lion’s share of your affiliate sales are your super affiliates.
Bottom line, if you want to be a successful internet marketer, come up with a process–preferably a fast easy way–to find super affiliates and recruit them.
If you’ve been looking for super affiliates and have a few bucks to spare, you should check out Brad Callen’s latest piece of software, Affiliate Elite.
On the other hand, if you’re on a tight budget, make sure you’re subscribed to this blog because I might offer a few tips.
To lasting profits!
