Do You Fish Or Cut Bait?

Hi,

Some friends of mine are huge Star Wars fans in the real sense of the word. At couple of them can quote nearly every word in the original movie. I don’t know if that’s good or bad… One thing for sure, they both have good memories.

But it doesn’t take a fan to appreciate some of the lessons in Star Wars. Take this one, from Yoda…

“Do, or do not. There is no try.”

Beta Testers

April 21st, 2008 by Administrator
Respond

Hi,

I have finished my personal testing of my new article marketing product. It will now go to my team for some alpha testing and then I’ll ask some of you to be beta testers… that is if you are on the blog announcement list. If you aren’t on the blog announcement list… you need to be.

Do you want to be one of my beta testers?

If so, you will need to be on the list that receives the email requesting beta testers. It’s easy to get on that list… Just find my picture in the upper right hand corner of this page and then look right under it. There’s a spot for you to type your name and email address to receive blog announcements. Take a few seconds and fill out the form and click the button. You’ll get a confirmation email immediately. As a final step, follow the instructions in the confirmation email to confirm that you want to be on the list to receive blog updates.

Why Intern Program

April 20th, 2008 by Administrator
Respond

Hi,

Many moons ago friends of mine started their summer job search. I watched as they got more and more stressed trying to find legitimate jobs. Some who were desperate for real work experience finally settled on unpaid summer internships.

As Summer progressed, I remember a couple individuals in particular going on and on about how boring their internships were and how all they were doing was menial tasks like making copies and getting people coffee. Some real work experience that was!

7 Reasons To Take A Vacation

Respond

Hi,

I’m on vacation now.

As you read this, my family and I probably will be having dinner.

Vacations have lots of benefits. Let me share a few with you:

1) Perspective. There are so many more important things in life than work. A vacation gives you a chance to detach yourself from your day-to-day grind, and to think about what is truly important in life. When you align yourself with what is truly important, you will be amazed how easily things fall into place.

2) Relaxation. A vacation breaks your day-to-day routine and gives you a chance to recharge your batteries.

3) Stress management. Vacations are an ultimate way to manage stress. Many people are almost addicted to work. Hence the term workaholic. What some of these people might not realize is the damage and stress their work is causing across all areas of their life.

Copywriting

Hi,

A growing percentage of businesses small and large have a Web site.

Some of these businesses also have ads in the yellow pages.

If you’ve ever had an ad in the yellow pages, you might have wished you could change your ad around a bit to get more calls.

But then you realized you were pretty much stuck with your ad in the yellow pages until it came time to renew.

Online, with your Web site, you have no such constraint…

You see, a home page has a job just like an ad in the yellow pages.

An ad in the yellow pages might be designed to get people to call for a free estimate, whereas your home page’s job might be to get people to join your list, buy one of your products or read through your site.

Now, if we assume you’ve got a clear idea of your home page’s job, let me ask you this…
