I recently attended a private seminar with Alex Mandossian.
If you’ve ever been to a good workshop, you know how it leaves your head brimming with great ideas. And Alex’s event was no exception.
But here’s the thing…
You want to know what most people do when they get home? They let those ideas sit. That’s right–after spending money, energy and time to get that knowledge, they put it on a shelf to collect dust!
I wonder if you’ll be reminded of being in a similar situation.
And that sad part about this is the many who fall into this category and go to seminars and workshops to learn (there are other reasons to attend as well), go with the right “intention.”
But after the fact, there’s no “action.” Nada. Zippo. Zilch.
Now lock onto this. Here is the solution: have a process.
There are some great seminars and workshops. New ones surface every week.
But back to the solution I mentioned above. So here’s what you do…
Whether you’re heading back from an event, or just reeling in from a marathon coaching call, gather and organize your thoughts.
Do it on paper or computer, whichever comes easier. I recommend starting with paper because there’s something extra kinesthetic about it.
Then, share your insights, ideas or most important issues during your next mastermind group call, with the intention of action.
It’s that simple. Have a process for discussing things with your mastermind group or partners. Isn’t that why you have a mastermind group to begin with?
You deserve a lot of credit for changing and taking steps to charge of your life. Break the habit of taking two steps forward and one step backward. Create and execute a new process starting today.
